PHI 10B Critical Thinking Part Two

Students taking this course will continue to develop reasoning techniques covered in PHI 10A, including further work on such topics as argument construction and deconstruction, fallacies of reasoning, drawing inferences, assessing validity, problem solving, assessing credibility of witnesses, and applying critical thinking skills to such areas as popular culture, ethical dilemmas, and legal reasoning.  PHI 10A/PHI 10B carries credit equivalent to PHI 5. Pre-requisite:  PHI 10A.  Both PHI 10A and PHI 10B must be taken in order to receive General Studies credit: GS-II, VB3. Only offered through the MSMU Online Program.
