A case study approach to business ethics. Using ethical theories, we will cover moral dilemmas involving business and the society (integrity, greed, information technology) and these ethical theories and their application to business practice: Ethical Egoism, Cultural Relativism, Utilitarianism, and Kantian Ethics. Students who take
PHI 92A may not take
PHI 21A/
PHI 21B for credit. Pre-requisite for
PHI 192B: Any other Ethics course. Both
PHI 92/
PHI 192A and
PHI 92/
PHI 192B must be taken in order to receive General Studies credit: GS-VB2. Only offered through the MSMU Online Program.
