NUR 48 Professional Nursing Practicum

The course provides an internship experience in applying leadership and management principles in an acute care settings. Focus of care is on developing clinical and leadership skills of a beginning professional nurse. A group of students is assigned to a preceptor/mentor of the assigned unit during the experience.
