Admission to the Undergraduate Degree Programs

Admission to the Traditional Baccalaureate Degree Programs

Mount Saint Mary's University is a women's university that offers select co-educational programs. Candidates for admission to the Baccalaureate programs are evaluated on the basis of their high school coursework and record (or either GED or High School Proficiency Exam), other college coursework and record (for transfers), letter of recommendation if required, and the essay. The requirements and procedures are detailed in the next section of this catalog. Transfer students interested in the nursing program must meet additional requirements for admission to that program. Please see the appropriate section of this catalog for those requirements.
