Dual MFA and MBA Degrees

 

The MBA and Film, Television and Photography programs have come together to design and offer two dual degree programs for students who wish to pursue both degrees concurrently. Pursuing both degrees broadens the skills set of our graduates and makes them more competitive in the job market. It also allows students to pursue two degrees at a discounted rate of time and tuition, compared to completing both degrees individually.

Students can elect to pursue an MBA in Entertainment Management concurrently with the MFA in Film, Television and Photography or  the MFA in Producing for Film and Television. The curriculum sequence for both options are outlined below.   

Dual degree students who decide to pursue the MBA in Entertainment Management and the MFA in Film, Television and Photography must complete 79 units to receive both degrees, compared to 97 units if pursued individually.

Student selecting to pursue the MBA in Entertainment Management and the MFA in Producing for Film and Television must also complete a total of 79 units to receive both degrees, compared to 88 units if pursued individually.
