ITA 1 Elementary Italian I

Development of fundamental Italian interpretive and presentational communication through exposure to listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students are also introduced to the geography, customs, and culture in Italy. The course is conducted in Italian except in cases of linguistic difficulty as determined by the professor. Emphasis placed on speaking. GE 4A.
