RST 249 Topics in Theological Ethics

In this course students will explore and analyze a particular topic in the field of theological studies or religious studies in greater detail. Depending on the topic of the course students will engage a variety of primary sources (e.g. historical and contemporary theological documents and treatises) and/or comprehensive secondary sources that provide theoretical and practical analyses of the topic and its associated issues. Topics will vary by semester but may include: Christian Spirituality, the Religion and the Spirituality of Wine, Christology, Constructive Theologies, Mysticism, American Civil Religion, Ecclesiology, etc. [May be repeated for credit.]
