Education Master of Science, Individually Designed Program in Conjunction with Induction Program

Employed teachers may pursue a Master of Science in Education in conjunction with an Induction program as an Individually Designed Program. Up to six units of graduate credit may be transferred from another institution in place of electives.

Electives (20)

If completing an Induction program in conjunction with the masters degree, the EDU 225 A/B/C/D or EDU 226 A/B series accounts for 4 units of elective graduate study.

If completely a Certificate in Inclusive and Responsive Teaching (CIRT) in conjunction with the masters degree, approved CIRT-eligible courses account for 12 units of elective graduate study.

Any 200-level graduate-level course offered by the Education Department may be taken as an elective. With advisor approval, 200-level coursework offered by departments other than Education may be taken as electives.
