PSY 156 Personality and Adjustment

This course will examine the major theories of personality (e.g., Psychoanalytic, Behavioral Humanistic, Cognitive), addressing the development, structure, and dynamics of personality. Survey of these theories highlights the origin of normal and pathological personality development. Students will be able to explore their own personality development, learn how different personalities work well together or conflict, explore healthy and unhealthy adjustment options, and work toward tolerance for personality differences.
