ENS 20 Race and Ethnicity

This course will focus on understanding race and ethnic relations from local, national, and international perspectives. Students will learn to deconstruct the concept of racial and ethnic identities while simultaneously connecting these concepts to broader systems of inequality that shape past and current social dynamics. Lastly, students will connect texts from the social sciences and humanities to current events and personal experiences to better understand the continuing significance of race and ethnicity in American society.
