SOC 153 Food Inequality

Food is an integral part of our lives, providing nutrients, enjoyment and cultural identification, yet access to food is not equally available across all social or geographic areas. Topics to be covered include issues of human rights, political, and social injustice as they relate to food access and food insecurity, the corporatization of food and the political and social dynamics behind food inequality.  Cross-listed with GIS 153.
