Prerequisite for minors to enroll in EDU 191:  Successful completion of  EDU 13, PSY 12, 13 or 15 and completion of nine additional units of coursework required for the minor.

EDU 191 may be replaced for BSN majors with NUR 172 T with NUR 172 TP 

EDU 191 may be replaced with a major-related, 3-unit practicum if the practicum involves direct work with children (infant through age 13).  Must be approved by minor advisor and documentation must be submitted, including syllabus, site, hours of service, responsibilities & ages of children served.  For example, acceptable courses (with documentation), include PSY 192, SOC 176, SW 113, or SW 114.
