FLM 198G Visual Storytelling

This class will improve students' understanding of filmmaking through rigorous practice, comprehensive instruction, and creative problem-solving. The class will offer a dynamic and challenging experience as students collaborate to write, direct, produce, and edit a short film. Moreover, students will develop problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly, particularly during the production phase, where filming must be completed within a three-hour class period. The course primarily focuses on the art of visual storytelling, enabling students to expand their existing skills and explore the possibilities of their unique filmmaking style. This class is cross listed with FLM 210A and is intended for undergraduate students enrolling in one of the Mount's MFA programs in Film or Screenwriting. Must have Senior status to enroll.
