HIS 140 The Rise of Nationalism
This course examines the rise of nationalism globally, with a focus on populist and religious movements that have shaped political landscapes over recent decades. Students will explore nationalism through historical, political, sociological, and cultural lenses and analyze resistance movements that have countered nationalism's influence across time and place. The course will be team-taught by faculty in the Department of History and Political Science as part of the department series dedicated to an interdisciplinary introduction to the department’s majors.
