Art
A student majoring in Art should have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of Art as an essential human activity. Majors in Art should obtain a high level of skill in a variety of medium not necessarily limited to a specific course listing at the University. The end goal is for students to become ‘young professionals’ , be able to methodically think about and understand personal insights and to become fully self-assigning with regard to this and the act of creating. The program aims to prepare students for graduate programs or for employment in the creative industries.
