The student who majors in Political Science investigates issues and topics relating to the following subfields within the discipline: political theory, international relations, American politics and institution, comparative politics, and public policy. Students who major in Political Science analyze political processes, behavior, systems, and institutions. Through the mastery of disciplinary methods, students are trained to explain and predict political phenomena and integrate theoretical traditions within the subfields of the discipline. A maximum choice is allowed so that the course of study can be designed according to the primary interests of the student.
