FLM 204 Documentary Editing

This course covers traditions and forms of editing a variety of nonfiction formats, including: historical, cinema verite, and experimental documentary. Students will examine techniques and concepts behind editing documentary films and how a film takes shape in the editing process. On-going student documentary projects will be analyzed with feedback. Prior editing experience necessary; students can concurrently enroll in an editing course as needed. Cross-listed with FLM 128.
