PT 495A Research V: Research Development

This fifth course in the series of seven research courses is focuses on developing a deeper understanding of measurement in clinical practice. This course has 3 main components:

  1. Identifying measurement instruments relevant for physical therapy practice
  2. Using an exhaustive literature review to determine the reliability and validity of the instrument
  3. Designing & conducting a research protocol to determine instrument reliability or validity.

The project completed in this course may serve as a pilot project for the independent research option for PT 495 B & C.
