EDU 213 Unique Abilities

This course introduces a wide range of applied content regarding the unique abilities of students who require a highly specialized form of service for their educational experience. Instructional constructs include the following topics: collaborative environments, family and peer relationships equitable access, careers and agency planning, evidenced-based high leverage practices, informal assessment for progress monitoring and transitional planning. Course sessions in school and agency visitations, and team activities. (Cross listed with 113.)

Prerequisite: Typical and atypical development coursework, EDU 1/251B, 1/251A, or related topics. If the candidate is non-matric, neither of these courses would be required.
