BUS 220 Strategic Management Writing and Communications

This course emphasizes understanding and communicating with an organization's major stakeholders including employees, customers, investors or donors, government, and other associations. Theories covered include audience analysis, persuasive writing, presentation techniques, and verbal and interpersonal communication. Students will sharpen their writing and communication skills by learning to spot, correct, and avoid the most common writing pitfalls and gain valuable experience analyzing, writing, and revising a range of business documents. Communications practices will be covered for both traditional and digital media platforms.
