BUS 237 Negotiation Skills and Strategies

This course provides an overview of the foundational skills and knowledge needed to negotiate effectively and strategically. The course emphasizes a problem-solving approach to negotiation. Students will learn to identify and recognize tactics used by other negotiators and determine what strategies to employ in response. Students will discover their personal style and develop a systematic approach to a variety of challenging business situations. Special emphasis will be given to the areas of interpersonal and intergroup conflict.
