PSY 177 Applying Research to Practice

This course is cross-listed with the graduate course PSY 200. This course reviews the theoretical and practical understanding of research methods and evidence based practice in the counseling setting. This course will provide students instruction in critically evaluating research in clinical practice, accounting for diverse individual and contextual factors. In addition students will learn about the importance of utilizing and evaluating evidence based practice in the clinical setting. Prerequisites: see policy on Undergraduate/Graduate Psychology Cross-Listed Courses.
