PSY 194 Advanced Research Apprenticeship

With the guidance of a faculty mentor, this course provides self-initiating students the opportunity to design and conduct their own independent research. Students work closely with a faculty sponsor through the various phases of research(e.g., developing a question, selecting a research design, collecting and analyzing data and reporting the results). At the end of the semester, students must submit a final version of their research project to their faculty sponsor. May be repeated for a total of 12 units. Note only 3 units may count toward the major or minor.
