PED 4B Ballet
An introduction to the basic movements and choreography of ballet which will increase flexibility, balance, muscle strength, endurance, and tone. A typical class will consist of: Barrework performed at the barre stretching exercises, adagio combination, across-the-floor combinations, petite allegro, grand allegro, and reverence to cool down. This course is an exploration of Ballet dance with an emphasis on cardiovascular health. While this class breaks down the basic proper techniques it also serves to help students boost overall physical health by providing a fun, safe, environment.
