PSY 401 Research Methods: Quantitative & Statistics
This course will review quantitative research designs in psychological research including experimental, quasi-experimental, and correlational designs. Research question development, hypothesis testing, and quantitative analyses will be covered. Students will learn to apply appropriate descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to answer questions of psychological practice and understanding. Research literacy, particularly focusing on evidence-based practice in health service psychology, will be emphasized.
