PSY 410 Introduction to Clinical Assessment

This course is an introduction to the clinical assessment of individuals, couples, and families. Students will learn how to build rapport, collect data for diagnosis and intervention, and and write-up summaries for treatment planning. Topics include: basic counseling skills, theoretical orientation, initial intakes, family genograms, and suicide assessment.
