PSY 460 Clinical Proficiency Exam

The Clinical Proficiency Exam (CPE) evaluates the student's knowledge, understanding of, and skills in clinical assessment, intervention, ethics/ legal standards, cultural diversity as it applies to health service psychology. It also evaluates communication/interpersonal skills and professional values and behaviors as they relate to the profession. The CPE is a prerequisite to internship eligibility (i.e., it must be completed before a student can submit internship applications). The CPE is offered during summer Year 3 in the Mount’s PsyD curriculum schedule. Pass/Fail. Prerequisite: PSY405, 406, 432, 434, 435
