PHI 130 Existentialism

A study of existentialist thinking drawing from Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Sartre, Heidegger, Camus de Beauvoir. The emphasis is on the individual free-will, choices, decision-making, authenticity vs. inauthenticity, and global considerations. Existentialist literature (Kafka, Beckett Atwood Shange, etc.) and challenges raised by women and people of color may be included.
