PHI 158 Scientific Method

An inquiry into the nature and value of science. In this course we will address such questions as: What is science? Is there a method common to all the sciences? Does science give us truth? Is science value-free? What are the ethical rules appropriate for scientific practice? This course is highly recommended for students majoring in one of the sciences, but all students are welcome.
