SW 101 Macro Social Work Practice
This course provides an introduction to macro social work practice through the acquisition and application of knowledge, skills, and values. Students will explore the history, methods, theories, and socio-political factors that influence macro-level social work practice. Emphasis is placed on understanding the impact of these factors on diverse communities and examining the relationship between professional values, ethical responsibilities, and effective community practice.
