CRW 279 Developing and Pitching the TV Series
Writing a pilot script is a great way to learn the craft of television writing, but a series greenlight only comes from a well-developed pitch. In this course, we’ll study pitch documents from successful shows, break down seasonal arcs, and begin the development of your own series pitch. Attention will be paid to both comedies and dramas, and emphasis will be placed on the character development and story engines that keep a series moving fluidly from episode to episode, season by season.
