EXS 101 Advanced Women’s Health Across the Lifespan: Pregnancy, Menopause, Osteoporosis, Bone Health
This advanced course delves into the critical stages of women's health across the lifespan, focusing on the physiological and medical changes associated with pregnancy, menopause, and bone health, particularly osteoporosis. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how these life stages impact overall health and well-being, and explore evidence-based strategies for managing and preventing health issues unique to women. The course will examine the complex hormonal and metabolic changes that occur during pregnancy and menopause, with a focus on their implications for physical and emotional health.
