EXS 115 Advanced Wellness Coaching Applications 1

This course provides a hands-on introduction to wellness coaching, focusing on the practical application of coaching techniques to help clients improve their overall health and well-being. Students will develop essential coaching skills, including goal-setting, active listening, motivational interviewing, and behavior change strategies. Emphasis will be placed on assessing clients' needs, creating individualized wellness plans, and supporting clients in making sustainable lifestyle changes related to physical activity, nutrition, stress management, and mental health. Through case studies, role-playing, and live coaching practice, students will gain confidence in applying wellness coaching principles in real-world scenarios.

 

This course serves as the foundation for more advanced coaching techniques and prepares students for professional practice in wellness coaching.
